About The Client
The Quapaw Area Council is one of the five Boy Scouts of America councils in Arkansas. Headquartered near downtown Little Rock, the Quapaw Area Council consists of nine districts that cover a combined 39 counties. The Quapaw Area Council provides programs for cub scouts, boy scouts and venturers.
Project Scope
After a multi-year attempt at re-doing their website in-house, the Quapaw Area Council came to Matmon with a little bit of a mess. They wanted to use their website more as a communication resource with current news and upcoming events, but their old website was very outdated and limiting.
Website
After paring down and compiling two sitemaps, we established a new taxonomy that caters to both parents and scouts. We gave them a clean, sleek design using elements from the National Boy Scouts brand's new digital brand guide, making Quapaw one of the very first council’s in the United States to implement the new branding.
