We all have content that we don’t necessarily want to share with everyone. Thankfully, adding Password protection to a page in WordPress is pretty straightforward.

When editing a page, simply click the “Edit” button to the right of “Visibility: Public”.

This should provide you with some options.

Select “Password protected” and enter your desired password:

Then click “OK”.

Now, just click “Update”, and the page should display a form requesting users to enter a password in order to view the protected content.
