Outlook® 2002 E-Mail Settings
Before you start the configuration process, make sure the program has been installed and is running properly. Open the program and follow these instructions:
- On the menu bar, click Tools and then Options to bring up the Options box.
- Click Mail Setup tab, then click E-mail Accounts… to bring up the E-mail Accounts box.

- Click the Add a new e-mail account radio button, then click Next >.

- Click the POP3 radio button, then click Next>.

- Looking at the screen shot below, fill in the text blocks as described below:
- Your Name: Your name — it doesn’t have to be your login name.
- E-mail Address: userid@yourdomain.com
- Incoming mail server (POP3): pop.yourwebsiteaddress.com
- Outgoing mail server (SMTP): smtp.yourwebsiteaddress.com

- Click on More Settings … then go into Outgoing Server tab and check My outgoing server (SMTP) requires authentication.

- When you are done, click OK, then click Finish and you are finished.
