How to change your SMTP Port

This will be for those users who cannot use Port 25. Use this reference if you are not using Outlook or an older versions of Outlook programs.

Here is how you do it in Outlook 2003.

1. Click Tools then Email Accounts.
2. Make sure you have View or change exisiting e-mail accounts selected before you click Next.
3. Highlight your POP3 account and click Change…
4. Click More Settings … then the Advanced tab.
5. You should see Outgoing server (SMTP): which would have 25 set as default.
6. Change the 25 to 2525 like this screenshot down below.
   
7. Click OK after you make your SMTP port change.
8. Click Next then Finish.
